Pat Beyer – Embracing God’s Love

Pat Beyer, an 80-year-old San Antonio native, was married to her sweetheart Perry for 60 years after tying the knot at just 16. A dedicated member of CrossBridge Community Church, she has raised 4 children and is blessed with 14 grandchildren and 23 (and counting) great-grandchildren. Pat is passionate about her ministry, “Embracing God’s Love,” where she encourages others to discover freedom in Christ through their own stories. Available for speaking engagements, interviews, and retreats, Pat travels from the greater San Antonio area to inspire others in their walk of faith.

When Pat invited me to join a book study on God Loves Me and I Love Myself, I honestly didn’t expect to get much out of it. But I couldn’t have been more wrong. The book turned out to be a true eye-opener. It helped me uncover hidden issues I had been carrying subconsciously—deeply rooted things I hadn’t realized were influencing my daily life.

Through the self-awareness the book encouraged, I began to recognize and understand those feelings. Working through it alongside a group of trusted women made the experience even more meaningful. Together, we uncovered the underlying issues, faced them honestly, and moved forward with greater healing and positivity.

I recognized I needed help loving myself the way God loves me, but I had no idea how to go about finding that help.  God put together a book (by Mark DeJesus). his videos and a group of loving friends dedicated to each other and the Father.  He used a background of Freedom Prayer sprinkled throughout to provide a power punch when needed.  This combination was so impactful, we chose to continue with another book (same author) and now a third is being planned.

Some of the rejection truths Mark shares from his training and life experiences are hard to swallow, but walking with a circle of like-minded followers and lead by His Holy Spirit, I found answers to questions I didn’t even know I had.

As you become reconciled to the love of God, you want to help others find that same revelation.  We need to be healed so we can help others break the wounds of rejection off their lives and receive the healing Our Loving Father always intended.

I highly recommend this study.
